does anyone know of a good cleaning product for removing oxidization, bye spraying on and rinsing off? my bike has sit for 5 years and has slight oxidation on it. i am trying to get it clean to paint it black.
(cylinder head, cam covers etc...)

Sorry, but I've yet to see/hear of a product that removes oxidation that easily. :(

Everyone has their own fav product and methods that they use and swear by, which accompanied with some good 'ol fashioned elbow grease usually gets the desired results. ;)

Steel wool is great. I did the cases, jugs, and a little work on the head with it. . It does take off the original finish though. Lots of elbow grease.

I heard these guys make awesome product for clean up as well. The S100 stuff.

try some spray on mag wheel cleaner,dont get it on anything painted though;)

DANG man, can you come over and do some work on my engine? That's EXACTLY the finish I'm looking for on my bikes (78 KZ750 twin, 82 Yam XJ650)
