Question- swapping side covers? was created by OKC_Kent
Does anyone have any knowledge in this area of body parts on KZ's?

I've tried using the Kawasaki site and Zedder software to determine if any other covers will fit the 83 750 LTD I have. It makes it tough to know what will fit the bike because the parts are coded by color, so a cover may fit but you can't really tell,,,,everything tells me I have one of a kind covers, and I really doubt it, something else must fit the stud pattern and general shape.

Anyone know?

This is just speculation, but the 750-Spectre covers look real close.

And if it's any help, the 80-83 KZ750-E-Stnd, 80-83 KZ750-H-Ltd & 81-83 KZ650-CSR use the same side covers (the emblem holes are spaced the same on all of 'em too), so you can probably rule out all of those bikes. JMK.

I checked buykawasaki and the Spectre frames are an exact match to the LTD Shaft, so the cover holes are the same and the covers should fit. Unless the seat gets in the way somehow... I'll check that too. Thanks H1Vindicator!
