ok, so i cant get a stock LTD mag wheel to accept a 170 series tire without having it made. so... can anyone tell me a website where i could find custom wheels to fit the '76 kz 900? BTW, i just wanna say thx for all the responses and help i have already recieved from you guys. Im glad i found this website and will recommend it to my friends.:woohoo:

While you will need a wider wheel, you will need a longer countershaft sprocket or an adapter to space it out. You will need to figure out how to stabilize the rear brake as well as the 170 tire and any wheel you could mount it on will hit the stock torsion bar.
I think that if you go with an LTD wheel, the widest tire will be in the 130 range. The LTD wheel is a 16"

try a wheel from a GPZ. that should let you go wider I believe as the rim is wider than the KZs. making a torsion bar isnt hard. copy the stock one with a bend in it to clear the tire. zx wheels let you go really wide btw;)
