Spectre?

Anyone have any experience with the spectre line? Positive or negative comments? there is one sitting in a field near where i live, and i may make the guy an offer on it.

Are parts easy to get like my KZ1000 A2? Thanks.

unless its a Model A,sitting in a field is never a good sign especially for a motorcycle! parts for your kz are pretty common yet

I think the Spectre was only manufactured between 82 & 83, so there are not quite so many parts available out there.

What size Spectre? They made 550, 750, and 1100's for several years...parts still appear regularly on eBay for all of them, but as mariozappa pointed out, there are fewer Spectre's bumping around than KZ1000's...eventually that parts pool will dry up:)

And I think Spectres were all shaft drives, but I may be wrong. Basic engine parts should be the same across the different models of that year, no?
