European KZ750E? Check it out. was created by speedadict
Just picked up this KZ750. The side covers say, Z750. The title says KZ750E. The guy bought it in Austria and brought it back to the states. The speedo is in km/h. Looks like a GPZ to me. Is this thing worth anything. Thanks.

Sure it's worth something, it has a title. It doesn't look like a GPZ but rather the European version of the KZ, which they called the "Z750" in Europe. How does it run?

I don't know how it runs yet. It has been sitting for a while. I think it had a inch or two of chicken poop covering it for a few years. Yuck. Gonnna take some elbow grease. How about a KZ440 with a belt drive? I picked up one of those this weekend too. Weird bike, but wow is it ugly! I am up to 5 KZ's now! Sweet.

Your Z750 looks like a bit of a hybrid. The shape of the tank resembles an 82 GPZ 750 tank but the rest of the bike looks like an 81 or 82 KZ750 E model. Not a bad combination really. What model year does the title say it is?

Now that I look at it a second time I also notice that the shifter set up is the semi-rearset like what was used on the 83 KZ750 L3. With a little bit of love and attention I'd say you have a keeper there.

It is a 1983 I believe. Yeah the pegs are moved back a little. With a set of drag bars it would have a good ride position. I almost got it running the other day. The gas is real old and one float is stuck. Should be runnin' again real soon.
