1. Go to www.kawasaki.com
2. On the left sidebar go to Owner's Info|Parts Diagram
3. Put in your motorcycle info and search for the parts diagram main page for your model.
4. From the righthand dialogue box pick the assembly you're looking for (i.e. frame, engine, electrical. A new explorer window pops up with the applicable parts diagram
5. When you see the parts diagram number, scroll the lower dialogue box to that number, then copy the actual part number
6. Minimize that window and you'll be back at the parts diagram main page. At the top of the page select "Parts". Paste the parts number in the applicable box and hit search. One to three listings usually pop up for the same part number. I think this has to do with the way the discriptions were entered over the years (i.e. valve cover versus cover, valve)
7. Try all of the different listings and it will show you on the right side dialogue box what models of Kawasaki's that particular part number was used for.
Sorry for the lengthy post. Let me know if something doesn't make sense.

...it just keeps telling me that no motorcycle like it is found. "81 KZ750E; isn't it a standard steet bike? Or maybe they just don't have the diagrams on this one. I doubt it. I'm probably not putting in the right info.
It's listed as a 1981 under 740cc (not 750cc).
Or as suggested by H1Vindicator, just enter 1981 and "ALL" for the rest, which gives a list which includes KZ750 (note the cc column showing 740)
