I just replaced the throttle grip on my 1981 KZ1000 CSR with OEM from the dealer. I'm very pleased with it as the grip assembly includes the inner tube which connects to the cable.

Yeah, I also picked up NOS OEM grips for my KZ750R1 fairly recently from a dealer.
