i have got this stuff on my rear spokes and cannot seem to get it off. help!! what do you guys use to get your spokes looking good again?
Wellllll, you could go with a simple 2500 psi model.
Or go balls-out and spring for the 3750 psi model to get that stuff that just won't budge for anything! :woohoo: :whistle:
Actually, I've found that Simple Green works pretty well, is touted as being bio-degradable, and won't trash what you're using it on like some harsher cleaner/degreasers might do.

i believe it was pj1...what is a better alternative? gear oil?You can eliminate this problem in the future by not using crap chain lubes that goober up everything. PJ1, Calgard, Chainwax, ect, ect.

Then, I had (brief) flash of brilliance. I used some car wax on the areas of the rim usually worst covered with goo to prevent the stuff from sticking in the first place, and... it worked reasonably well. It's too bad I never get around to waxing the rims regularly.
