1100 forks on a 1000

Will forks from a 82 KZ1100 shafty fit on my 78 KZ1000
simple bearing swap or more in to it than that?
78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.

If I recall correctly these are leading axle. So it will alter your steering geometry, and not in a good way.
There is a list of all the steering-stem bearings that allows you to check which forks are interchangeble. It is either in the filebase or on the forum. A search should bring it up.

What if I lower the forks in the tripple trees or swap the forks from one side to the other?
