thanks for the tips. Its not just an odd size, it's a non-existant size. A friend of mine has a lathe and mill and said he'd make sleeves, etc. to use the smaller axle and original bearings. I just need to take some measurements. problem solved!

If you want to go for precision overkill, consider
MicroBlue Racing
's selection of micropolished bearings treated with tungsten disulfide. If you want to get really ticky about it, get the
ceramic
version.

Just replaced the 3 rear wheel bearings, 2 front wheel bearings, and both steering bearings, and seals. Bought all of them from
All Balls Racing
shipped to me with correct seals for $74.00. Check out their site, and compare. Wheel bearings came with sealed type, and steering head bearings came with tapered type, races, and seals.
