Les Holt is a member here who builds anything you want. Do a search for him or try justlesh@yahoo.com. I think that is his email.

I really don't want to go with trac, that arm would be over a grand, I know I could just have a builder do it for less.
I will give this a try thanks.

A much cheaper option(ebay the parts), but wouldnt get you 10+ would be a zx12r or gsx1300r arm with matching wheel. after you mod it to fit, (and either go the whole 9 yards and go with a mono shock or weld on mounts for dual shocks) you can get swingarm extensions for about $200 to give you 4-6 over. plus the new arms are about 2-3 over compared to the kz arm. so a total of 8-9 over.
if thats not enough, I know muzzys can add 3 or 6 inches to the zx12 arm($500-$600:( ), then put on the bolt on extensions and you would be well over 10 then. about 14-15 max.
the wheels come with a 200mm tire stock(allmost 8 inches wide) so thats in the ball park. just add the slick you want

im no big time dragracer but im just wondering is ther a point where you can lengthen the swingarm too much where it starts to affect traction from a lack of weight on rear wheel?the most ive ever gone is around 4" over on any of my projects;)

Yep...there is a limit, but it depends mostly on your tire. Get it out back too far and with no wieght on the tire, you better have a sticky one. I've seen some bikes with the rear tire so far back there wasn't any of it under the stock body work...but they were running a 7" M/T slick. Farther back you go, the better tire you will need..and a very big turn-around area!!!

When I spoke with Les he said he can make an arm for $200 to $250. Not bad at all.
