Swingarm help

I currently own a 1982 kz750 that i plan on rebuilding from the ground up(4-cylinder of course). I have seen a few bikes that look as if they have a crotch rocket swingarm and wheel/tire, they also look nice with a still streetable swingarm extension. I love the way it looks on these bikes. What all is involved in this swap? How hard is setting up suspension that fits, or is it just rigid? Is it difficult and what all is involved?

where do you get a swingarm like this and is it hard to do?

Read all you can that aplies to your bike.Look through the archives.When you have chosen your swingarm ,google wreckers and put in a request.Then sit back and wait for the emails to come.You can also join forums of that specific bike and search there for sale adds.Its not a hard job for some .It all depends on your abilities.You WILL need help from a fabricator sooner or later.Good luck.

Thanks alot for all your help with this project!! Now that I have another frame I can begin this project. I also have another bad motor bored to 810 that I can use the cylinders and pistons for the rebuild. Thanks again and I may have some other questions along the way.
