shitty idle and hard starting solved... was created by tnutz
well, put the bike away for winter and did all my winterizing, replaced some fuel lines, cleaned various connections on the bike, new chain, blah blah blah...cleaned up the negative connection, crimped new ends on. Pulled the rubber and tape off of the Positive...WOW...looked like 10 years of corrosion under there. after it was all cleaned up i put my gas stabilizer in and put the battery in, started first crank and idled how it is supposed to, lights were nice and bright. Always start with the easy shit first! Looks like i have myself a free starter just incase now.
I love this bike...i can't wait for spring to show it off some more

Remember, some conductive grease on the rings and the terminals will keep that corrosion away and keep you running happily!

you know what I found is a great, corrosion retardant? Take a cigarette butt, cut it in half and put it in between the battery posts and wires. The fiberglass keeps that corrosion away like magic...
