using 5-pin flasher relay instead of 2-pin...

Okay so im going to be replacing my fuse box on my bike for the preference of blade fuses. I also decided to get a fuse box that can hold a couple relays for the convenience of having everything in one spot. In all of that thinking I thought of eliminating the need for two flasher relay and use one 5-pin flasher relay that i can hide in my fuse box! Genius, right?

Well i have no idea how it is supposed to work and I am trying to follow the relays wiring diagram. I opted for the led electronic relay because from my understanding as long as it can take the wattage of incandescent bulbs it should work.

Well i wired it up and i can hear the relay click but nothing is happening to the turn signals. Could you guys help me out? It's totally possible that I have the wrong flasher relay for my purposes. Here's a bunch of pictures for visual aid.
Relay diagram:
My bikes wiring diagram:
Relay i bought: a.co/d/0i81Qgu2

Edit: i forgot to mention but the way I wired it up was + to the main 30a fuse, L to the orange turn signal feed wire, L2 to the orange-green hazard wire, ground to a solid frame ground, and I to the other orange wire coming from the ignition switch.

do the hazards work?

you may have grabbed the wrong orange wire from the turn signal relay?
You need the output wire connected to your new relay... not the input wire.

meter the orange wire connected to the relay.
set your meter to DC V
key on
kill switch "run"
engine not running

black probe on battery negative.
red probe on the orange wire at the flasher relay(the "L" terminal).

you should not see any voltage.. meter reading should be unsteady as well.
if you see voltage on the orange wire, then you have the wrong orange wire connected to the relay.

Unfortunately yes I verified the correct orange wire is being used. Neither the hazards nor turn signals blink, just click.. click.. click..

so the relay has steady clicks?

meter the "L" and "L1" terminals while the relay is clicking.

Black probe on battery negative
Red probe on "L" for the turn signal setting

"L1" for the hazards setting

i'm wondering if the flash pulse from the relay maybe too short for incandescents

I did that yesterday and what I found was it would be at 12v then when I'd use the switch it would drop to 0.2v and stay there. This is all of the wires that I'm using. Hope it's legible.

where were your probes when the voltage would drop to 0.2v?

The positive probe was on L and the negative probe was on the negative battery terminal.

because the reading suggests that your positive probe was getting a ground signal instead of a +12v

i need you to meter you relay sockets.

it sounds like your ground for the relay is in the wrong place.

black probe on negative battery post
red probe on each of the sockets.

I wish my electrical knowledge could determine what these readings meant... well this is my setup right now. It's nothing perfect as I dont want to do anything permanent before I know it works.

Yes they worked before. Breakthough!!! My ground was bad... i connected the ground directly to the battery and now the relay is much louder and the signals will light! Only problem... my right indicator light is constantly on.

one of your right bulbs may be burned out.
are you talking about the dash light??
or the front and rear turn signals
