Im assuming you have a manual with an electrical schematic, if not thats the first thing to get. Otherwise things are pretty straight forward with color codes on the wires which match the codes on the schematic. The Maine harness runs on the left side and crosses over to the right near the middle of the frame. Things should be self explanatory once you have the harness laid out where it should be. Otherwise you can post additional photos and we can take a look.

I do see a manual on the frame. Open it up and find the schematic.

Ditto Cra-z1's thoughts. But..since you've bought a box of pattern parts, insulation color on wires are probably going to be slightly/completely different from any manual. What IS important is the wire/pin location in all those block connectors. I see your aftermarket version is using "latching" connector blocks, originals were non latching of course. A tip. If you still have your old intact original harness, note the memory bends from previous usage, how it naturally falls into place where ends connect. If purchased all from the same vendor you shouldn't have too much of a problem, connectivity should be plug and play. Good luck!

Additional, hopefully you capped-off the bearing area on headstock from being powder coated! Otherwise a lot of scraping is in your future before the races are going to fit.

Think OP may be asking physical harness routing?  We had to refer to our other unmolested Z1's as models when we rebuilt a basket case a few years ago,  such as if a particular harness runs along / over / under / left or right of certain frame components.

Toni900, if that's the case, we can post some pics of OEM Z1 harness wiring.  Indicate what's needed.  Please post your intro in New Members first.

no problems there, this is a powdercoater who knows what he is doing
