Gpz 1100 starter lockout

Next question, ive converted to a hydraulic clutch and the new perch doesn’t have a switch for the starter lockout so ive fitted a hydraulic switch (2 wire) so i go to use the loom from the switch gear only to find its a three wire one of which is a ground ! How can i get round this is the ground required for a switch?

From the FSM in the file-base (there are separate diagrams for the ignition and injection systems)

OK so I have found a diagram of the inside of the junction box which makes things clearer to me (see below but ignore the colours of the lines and use the numbers as reference) basically you have two options which are explained below, choice is yours. If you want to go the relay route I can show you how but have had enough for tonight :)
EDIT: don't by-pass the side stand switch, there is no need

Doing a bit of live testing I connected one wire from the clutch switch to the y/g and the other to ground and the starter operates when the clutch is pulled

Have you used the black/yellow that went to the old clutch switch for your ground?
