Wire End

I've looked everywhere and can't find wire terminals for my fuse box. May seem a little nitpicky but bike is still all original and I'd like to keep it that way as much as I can.

Depending on how war torn the brass fuse holder is, can you hold it between your fingers and compress it without it coming apart? It's just a simple compression fuse-end holder but they get weak. Yours don't look that bad albeit. I often dip these in a 50/50 mixture of CLR and water. You can dip the whole gaggle of contacts and plastic in the solution. Won't compromise the plastic or latching ability. After removal, just use a Dremel appropriate wire wheel to clean. I have boxes of these so have never had to source a new "aftermarket" one.

It could be my old eyes or the angle of the pic, but I see what looks like damage to the lugs (part of the fuse box) that hold the brass fuse holder. Is there damage?  I have always thought they not only hold the fuse but also place pressure on the holder around the contact on the end of fuse. If it is damaged, it may no longer be able to provide such pressure.

Fuse is for the headlight. It was rather corroded. I cleaned it up with some fine sandpaper and it works for now but I would really like to replace it. I haven't cut any corners on this bike and would hate to start over something as simple as a fuse.

I saw what you were looking at and I just went back out and looked. I think that is just an artifact of the picture. The fuse box is totally pristine.

something like this would probably do the trick, also you could try classic car restorers (certainly old British cars used glass fuses for everything)

One reason why I don't use Amazon. Because it was a screenshot instead of a link, and all algorithm driven, I couldn't go right to that ad. I tried every combination of descriptions, even using that exact listing, that exact header, and it still wouldn't show it to me. Good news is I finally found what I needed, twice as much for only two, but I'm ok with that problem solved.

We've run into this before with Amazon. My wife and I can be sitting side by side looking for the exact same item and get totally different results. And different prices for the same listing!

Griping aside, thanks for the tip. Got what I needed. Only needed one. So all good quite happy.
