ULTRABATT issues

If anybody else is in the same position as me (waiting months for an ULTRABATT 300CCA to come off "back order") I have an update today from Ultrabatt. They have been taken over by MOTOBATT. The delay has been a result of re-branding. The new range was unveiled at a trade show in Europe earlier this month and are now branded MOTOBATT in the familiar yellow colour. Should be available in retailers from Feb/March 2026.

Historically I have always used Anti-Gravity Batteries, But I would be interested in trying something new if there is an advantage or quality difference -  Why do yall choose this brand over others?

** I currently use AG401  , AG801s and AG XPS SC-1

I have gone with this for the physical size against power and the internal tech

Is the parent company still the same?  Motobatt batteries have been selling in the USA market for quite some time now.  I've used them in a bunch of my bikes.  One thing to realize, if you let the battery discharge while the bike is in storage, it will damage the battery.  I allowed a fairly new AMG Motobatt battery to discharge, and despite my trying to bring it back up, my meter says "63% health".  I bought a pulse charger, which is supposed to be better than a common battery maintainer, but the battery has not improved.  Once damage done, there is nothing you can do.

Motobatt is the "parent company"  hence the black/red "Ultrabatt" branding disappearing. The key difference from a Motobatt point of view is the addition of Ultrabatts lithium battery range to their offering under the Motobatt brand.
