Another one bites the dust!  Bikemaster Platinum MS12-10L-A2 (made in China), almost made it 3 years. Not real Impressed.
Any suggestions for a better option ?
Thanks

If you don't mind the funky yellow color, Motobatt batteries. Switched over to this brand a few years ago. Steer clear of any Oreilly product! Every battery over the past 5yrs has failed within a year.

+1 on the Motobatt . Mine lasted seven years before I took it off the road for an engine rebuild. It probably would have kept going.

Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. Although I was looking for positive experiences regarding brands , lots of brands don't offer an AGM that fit a 77 KZ650B . If you know of one, part # please.
Thanks again.

Scorpion is another brand that seems to make the old sizes, I was eyeing up a scorpion for my KZ440 to replace its cheap mighty max that is on its way out prematurely.  This thread has me also considering mottobat though.

Get one of these chargers/minders.  It will keep your battery charged, and reduce degradation.

Most batteries die when allowed to sit for long periods of time discharged.  This particular charger keeps the battery charged by sending a pulse, which is better than a "battery tender", or at least, so I'm told, which sends constant current.

And BTW, I use Motobatt.  They are some of the best batteries going, but don't let them sit discharged, or it will kill them.
