KZ440 - Short Circuit when Motor Kill Switch "ON"

Hi again,This bike is turning into a never-ending story. Every time I feel confident enough to send it for the final inspection to get it registered here in Austria, something else pops up.I decided to clean the carb since it wasn’t running that great, and also charged the battery. Before doing that, the bike would start fine — afterwards, nothing. Not even a click from the starter.I found an unplugged wire going to the starter relay, reconnected it, and the bike started immediately. I turned it off and tried again just to be sure… and nothing worked again. Checked the fuses and saw the 25A was blown.I also noticed that when the kill switch is set to “On,” the neutral light gets very dim and after a few seconds, the fuse blows. I disconnected everything one by one, but I never got it to the point where the neutral light stays as bright as it is when the kill switch is off.I’m really clueless here, especially since I didn’t touch anything in the wiring. I’m running a standard 12V battery.Any tips on what I should check?BR,
Lukas

Hi again!

Fixed it! Had a worn down wire from the killswich which was touching the handlebar. Put some heat shrink tube on it and works like a charm now!
