Ignition switch to Motogadget

I have placed a Motogadget M-Blue on my '76 KZ900. I've got everything hooked up except the ignition switch. 2 of the 4 wires (red, white, blue & brown) coming off the switch aren't needed. Can anyone tell me which ones get snipped and also of the two wires left, which one goes to the battery and which one goes to the m-unit? Thanks, Steve
