Z1 73-75 Ground Lead Length

Seems i've ran dry of the Negative Battery to engine leads. Does anyone have an original Sumitomo 26010-028 laying around for a quick end-to-end measurement? I've plenty of the KZ ones but they are waay shorter. Thanks Clay!!

I think I have one.  Will check today.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Excellent!! I have the loose correct marked sheath cable, just have to fit the ends for correct length. And smaller main harness wire. Seems silly to fork-out 100bucks for just a "wire". Thanks a Bunch!!

Perfect Crazy! Then i CAN use this then. It's an original Kawasaki lead but originally for the positive side on "thinking" a Vulcan. One side original, just have to eyelet the end shown, and add a "to harness" wire. Best part is they can be had for something like 10bucks. I know a lot of what seems crazy but it's going on a restoration Z2 so want to address the details like font of original. Fill them cups-up, ha!

I indeed do Rockman! But unfortunately they are all text pics. While i'm proficient at this stuff i don't have any grade school aged kids living at home to decipher as to transferring texts to this computer. Cut and Paste, still don't know that is or how it works?? I'm doing 2 and a half RS750Z2's at the moment. I say half because helping a fellow member here with some of his woos. The other two complete ones are up in Virginia. I restore all the bits and send them to him to assemble. He retains the frames/bodywork and exhaust up in his location, i do the rest.

Yes that lead should work as there is a bit of wiggle room for the length, but dont forget the ground lead for the harness.

Those parts look very nice. Indeed you do some quality work.

Damn!  Those parts look nice and clean!

OK, I checked and I have two ground leads.  One is aftermarket...same as Cra-Z1's.  The ends have solder on them. The second wire is straignt black.

The other is a well used OEM one but it has no markings on it.  It's 15 and 1/4 inches long.  No solder on the ends.  The second wire is standard black and yellow.I can't swear that it came from a Z1 but I'm pretty sure it did.  It was hard to accurately measure the OEM one because the battery end had an almost permanent bend in it.
