KZ750H2 LTD Tail Light Swap?

Has anyone swapped out the huge ugly rear tail light on a KZ750H2 LTD? I can't stand the thing and would like to replace it with something else while keeping the stock mount on the fender. As always, thanks for reading.

 

The later 750H models came with a new style rectangular tail light with 2 bulbs. it's more modern looking than the earlier 1-bulb type. not sure what you have. nor do I know if there would be any electrical issues regarding the wattage or brake light outage switch.  At partzilla the 81-82 650csr diagrams show both styles. Or...some KZ400 models use the same fender damper, so that tail light might work. it's a smaller version of the type found on the early 750H. not sure if it's as small as you'd want.
