I've been reading through a bunch of posts on here regarding the shindengen sh 775 r/r unit. I see that id clip the connector from the stator and run those wires directly to the r/r. What I'm not clear on is the other connector on the sh 775 - what is getting connected there or rather, where do the lines from that side go to? Also, after removing the stock r/r, im confused on what I need to do with the now unused connection - am I pulling any wires from here to go to the new r/r?

So the three yellows from the stator connect to the new RR
The red/white connects to the red on the new RR (+)
The black/yellow connects to the black from the new RR (-)
The brown is no longer required (make sure it is insulated as it links to a main ignition live

Be careful buying a SH775, there are lots of fakes in the marketplace.  Be sure to look at the top fin, and make sure you can see the SH775 printing.

Triumph sells a great adapter harness...for cheap.

This is how I wire mine.  This wiring is taylored for a Suzuki GS, but I think most KZ's are similar.

I fit one on my KZ650, I used some cheap plugs you can buy on Ebay using the Triumph PN.

Its a tight fit on the 650 and just fits under the side cover. I only needed to slot one hole on the electrical bracket to mount it.

This one was bought used, originally for a Polaris ATV.

I'm a bit confused on where I'm clipping to get the wiring to the 775. Attaching a pic of my connectors- hoping someone can say which connector I can clip from and on what side of the connector (if it makes a difference). I'm assuming I'm clipping from the reg/rec connector but wanting to confirm before I go clipping away

Dude, I appreciate you so much. Prolly seems like a stupid question, and it was making sense in my mind to do it that way, but from the bits and pieces I was reading on different posts about the sh 775, I was second guessing myself left and right. Thank you so very much!
