KZP key was created by SWest
How do I get a key for a 94 KZP. Where can I find the numbers? They said they tried to start the bike and the PO said it was running great but overcharging then the key was lost. They haven't munged up the switch

If it's the same as the "J" "K" and "M" then the key number is on the body of the ignition switch. Once you have the number you can order a replacement key

The key code may be stamped into the seat lock as well. I don't know which would be easier to get at to see the code.
Also in case you aren't aware, the 1000P police bikes have have a replaceable key lock cylinder for the fuel tank.

On the lock set from my "K" that I sent to Carlos it was only clearly visible on the ignition lock, the seat lock had a shorter number (4 not 5 digits)The key code may be stamped into the seat lock as well. I don't know which would be easier to get at to see the code.

I was going to suggest the seat lock, but didn’t know for sure if the c/p had one. Should be on the steering head lock again IF that bike has said locking.
