The 1000A manual makes reference to a part that looks just like that, but it's denoted Relay Diode.  It's for the turn signal circuit.  Look in your factory manual for the reference K65

I did a search for the part# and this was one of the results  www.zpower.com.au/shop/kawasaki/z1/z1-90...21066-026-regulator/   I had no idea it looked like that?
