Does anyone have experience with the Newtronic AK-KAW3 electronic ignition for the 750 twin?
Mine is a '76 B1 if it makes any difference. It currently has the stock points system which works fine. The bike was recently resurrected after a 40 year sit.
!2,000 miles on the clock. If the electronic system makes a positive difference in starting, performance etc. I'm all for making the upgrade.

Any input is appreciated,

Russ

Not used with the twin but used the old phirana system on a z1b & z1r then had a newtronics on my z650 for quiet a long period (I gave the system to a mate with heart issues so he has a easier time kicking his motor over) I never had any issues at all, in fact because its a optical system I never had any misfires around the 7k/8k mark that plague other systems. I would recommend to any one still running a points ignition system
