Blue and red wire . was created by Jokinarnya
I have a blue and red wire hanging under my bike next to the stand.
Am I right in thinking it's for the oil pressue sensor?
If so, does it just connect under the screw in the sensor.
If not, where do I put it?
TIA

quite common wire, oil pressure, if 900/1000 paired up in alternator wiring, which is near side stand, 650 is in ignition area on right side under cover

Yes, the color matches the Oil Sensor switch wire color code...........and yes, normally i'ts got a felmale plug to go into the sensor, and that's it. The ground is the sensor body and the engine. It should work if the sensor is OK

The connection I can see isn't a plug. I don't know the correct name for it, buts a circular connector with a bit cut out, not dissimilar to a circlip shape.
it's obviously been clipped onto or around something at some point, I judt dont know what.

Yes, the blue/red is the oil pressure sender wire and it should go under the screw on the sending unit.
Here is a color wiring diagram. www.kzrider.com/filebase?task=download.send&id=281&catid=62&m=0
here is the factory service manual, though the wiring diagrams are sadly black and white. www.kzrider.com/modules/ServiceManuals/Kz400500550_79to83.pdf
