Regulator/rectifier

Hello,im going to install a regulator/rectifier off of a 1979 kz1000 to a 1977 kz1000a ..
Per the pics, white/red wire will be 12volts out, the 3 yellow will be a/c in from alternator, and black is ground, I'm assuming the brown wire is, ignition 12 volts in?

The brown is for a switched power source (turns on when the ignition is turned on.)  Commonly connected to the lighting circuit.  You might want to look at the wiring diagram for the '79, and hook it up the same way.
