Looks like a wire ballast resistor. What bike and wiring manual?

Will check in the morning but I think it's the solenoid to cancel the indicators when "auto cancelling" is activated (the symbol is a coil and a fuse, the solenoid has an integral thermal fuse)
EDIT: this is the self cancelling solenoid in the switch
