1995kx1000p regulator replacement.

I’m just diving in to replace my regulator/rectifier. Anyone has any advice as to the proper steps for this project please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Get a SH775.  It will help protect your stator from overheat damage.

im going w/ the hotshot from Ricks.  i replaced the stator with the same …

Are you going with a Lithium battery?  And if so, why?  A good AMG battery, like Motobatt, and a SH775, is the way to go for long-lasting reliability, and reasonable price.

i already replaced the stator with the hot shot and want to keep everything uniform.  also id like to be able to use different bulbs.

so i guess i was asking about the steps i need to take to replace this regulator... so far ive pulled out the battery - moved the aribox forward and pulled the battery bracket up as far as i can to access the old regulator... now im thinking that as long as i am this far i should pull out the carbs and clean those out as well....Ill send photos
