TEC MP08 coil

Does anyone know if a Tec mp08 coil would fry a a kz440 TCI  box

Brand is irrelevant, the current drawn by the coil is determined by the primary winding resistance so as long as the new coil resistance is within manufacturer spec (ref manual) you should be fine

Thanks just can’t find coil ohms spec for a 440 tci ignition, mp08 coil primary reads 2.7 ohms

It's the resistance of the ignition coil primary winding you are looking for, not the TCI unit

Then would the 440 use same coil primary resistance for both the points system and the tci system this is what I can’t seem to find in the manual

From what I can see the MP08 coils are 2.7 ohms so should be fine (check with a meter before fitting)
