I like the stock lights up front on my kz650. I want smaller lights in the back, and found a nice pair of LED ones seen below.

Ive heard a lot of conversation about the LEDs not drawing enough current, and a flasher or something like that being needed?

Can I run stock up front and rear LEDs in the back? If so, how so?

Here we go again. Another post about a random thing that answers to are all over the internet. No closure on the first 8 post, just onto another. Thinking the tail is wagging the dog.

Youre right. In the meantime I searched the web and found the answer: inline resistor.

Looks like the purse is there to hide a missing side cover.

What happened to the "my bike is blue, and I want to paint it green?"  Somehow it turned green overnight?

And I say ease off on the purse shick.  Who gives a crap what kind of bag someone uses to carry their crap.  Personally, I'd use two "purses" joined together, thrown over the rear seat, and call them "saddlebags."

Well I guess I could carry one beer and a pack of cigarettes in that "saddle bag."

If it just the blinkers you can change out the flasher. They have them on the ebay . My. Zx7 had one when i bought it . Worked good .

As far as the saddlebags/purse goes nothing new or hip about these . The hardleyableson guys have been running them for years.

I forget. Would an electronic flasher from the auto parts store work with LEDs?

Should do, any non-load sensitive flasher unit should do the trick

Thanks. Modern bulbs sometimes don't work w the original flasher & the fix is to get an electronic unit. but I forgot
if this also did the trick for Leds. doh.

The bike side covers are in PERFECT condition. The only bike of mine (I have a few) that DOESNT have a side bag is my 2002 ZRX. SOME of my bikes are below. I now have 9.
