antigravity/shorai battery

Hi guys, I have a 1981 KZ1000M CSR that I'm upgrading this winter, here's what's going to be on the bike (electrical):

- motogadget MO.UNIT blue
- dynatek DS2 electronic ignition
- LED sealed beam, flasher, breaklight
- electric start

I already installed a modern voltage regulator that works with lithium batteries. Is anyone running an antigravity or shorai battery? I'm asking this because I'm a bit concerned with the AH on those batteries wich are PbEQ. When you look at the actual AH, they drop quite a bit. Anyway, long story short, who runs these batteries with sucess and what model do you use?

thanks! :D

While I don't have experience running an Antigravity on a KZ, I did run one with great success on my Yamaha XS650 chopper that I built. I rode the hell out of it and it never gave me a single issue.

Personally i wouldn't touch a Shorai.
They have a high failure rate.
I bought two with their matching expensive chargers and they both failed within a couple of weeks.
The vendor instantly refunded me without any argument or proof and said to chuck the batteries in the bin and return the chargers at their cost.
I think that speaks volumes.
