Dyna Coversion KZ750

1977 KZ 750 Twin:

In another post, someone suggested I go Dyna to avoid the periodic charges that point adjustment costs.

For those who have done it, what sinvolved in the swap from points to Dynatek stuff?  Do I keep the oriiginal coil? Can I install it myself?

Thanks in advance
