Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and have gotten a lot of good useful information from this forum. My starter is basically inop. One of the brushes is gone, the rest are worn down to their leads. The commutator bars are worn down into a bell shape. I need the starter completely rebuilt. Can anyone give me a reputable place that you've used for starter or alternator rebuilding. I'm located in Nebraska. The closer the better but if I have to ship it out for repair I'm OK for that.
