Mechanical Mini-Tach for KZ1000

Does anyone know if someone manufactures a mechanical mini-tach that'll work on a KZ1000? JPCycles has them but they look like early Harley set-ups and I wasn't sure it that would work.

the ones for harleys only go up to 8grand
i just got one from jcwhitney its for a kawi comes with the mounting bracket looks great/works great cost me 30 buks

any ideas for an electric tach setup?
