Hello to all,
I’m new to the group. Have a 1976 KZ900A a new restoration. I’m building the wires to go from coil to plugs. On my old coils that were broken. So if you look at the old ones. There is a long indentation and a short one 1-4 2-3 the same. So on these dual output coils magna is the maker. So should I put #4 on the output on the back than #1 in the front. Same for #3 in the back # 2 in the front. Are does it even matter. Tithe ignition is dyna s. I’m on my phone so if you respond it may take me a minute too type any help would be greatly appreciated.  Next time click the insert all tab.
 Wire placement should not matter , Front or back fire together

On coil 1-4 it does not matter which way round the two leads go to 1 and 4 plugs. 
The same applies for coil 2-3.
Also make sure there is sufficient clearance between the front mounting post and the lower coil terminal.
Too close and it may short.

I will adjust all clearance issues with wires. New so I will make sure and put it in the correct subject. Thank you so much for answering my question it was another long day on this restoration. I wired up  got spark and now having some timing issues: spitting fuel out the #4 carb when I try to start the bike carbs are 26mm. Will wait for my mikuni flatslides to come in before I go any further, had carb problems when I tore it down to the bare frame in March. So yesterday was the first start up on stock KZ900A 1976 with header and baffles and air pods that’s all the modes that I did for now. So thank you again Lee.
