Good day,

I`m planning for building new eletrical harness by using motogadget m-unit, hope you think that is not a bad choice?

What I`m looking for is quality eletrical connections (joing cabels) and also cabels every material I need to build these, what do you recommend?
Quality connections who will work for long time....

Don`t know if the word connections is correct to use in English?

I prefer to use Deutsch connectors if it is not a restoration.

This website has helped me.

Thank you !
Its for my hobby project, not a orginal restoration.

These looks really PRO :) hehe how easy is to make the connectors ?

I have started thinking I must start first to make a connection drawing diagram, so I can see what type of connectors I need (numbers of cabels)... and then order... ?

Do I need special tools for using these connectors ?

You will need a crimping tool for Deutsch connectors.
The crimping tools can be more than $200 USD.
There are crimpers that sell for $40 USD.
You need the correct size crimper.

Yep Texas.
They have a ton of info on that website.
I've been referencing their page for years.

Oh, and a wire calculator to figure out wire size.

Vintage Connectors has lots of good stuff for building a harness.  Check out the terminal pliers which roll over the tangs on the brass terminals, just like OEM.  Good stuff.

I have had great success with material from Vintage Connections. I purchased their barrel terminal crimp tool. I’d suggest getting a few extra terminals to practice with. The crimp tool works great if operated correctly. Lol
