Just a quick project to pass another day in lock down.. i needed turn signals and wanted the short stalk ones but money is tight and time in abundance, decided to make my own from scrap around the workshop. I had an old rusted up set from a KZ750 ltd that i quite literally pulled from a ditch and a few Grinder keys. First i skimmed the stalks in the lathe as the pitting was quite bad. then Part off what i didn't need. Put a notch in the required spot and a quick media blast. I went with Braze weld as is way neater.

Then a quick polish of the stalks and on to the cups. They were fairly pitted so it was orbital sander then blast then sand again. The chrome was old and knackered but i got the as smooth as i could then on to powder coat, I used a textured finish satin black as it covers and hides most blemishes....mostly

Mounted them on the bike and the result wasn't a complete waste of the day, well until i get back to work and can afford nice shiny new ones from webike...
