1976 KZ 750 starter

How do you replace a starter on 1976 KZ750? Manual says to remove side case peg and brake lever. Looks like 2 bolts and electrical to me. Anyone change one before? Thanks Dale

You have to have the dynamo cover off so that you can reinstall the starter motor. If you do not remove the cover, the chain and gear will fall down behind the dynamo and you will not be able to slide the gear over the end of the splined shaft of the starter motor.
