Installing a starter in a 1975 KZ400S was created by Triker05
I have a 1975 Kawasaki KZ400S and would like to install a starter in it. I have a parts engine that has the starter motor but no wiring. Is there a diagram/instructions available that shows what color wires go where and any constructive advice on issues I might encounter? Thanks!

You are probably aware that you also need the starter clutch assembly from the parts motor. Your "S" motor came with a spacer in place of the starter clutch. Don't toss it, someone probably wants to buy it.
