Hello gents,, well once again ill say this as easily as calling my dogs,, im the worst fxxking mechanic on the face of the earth...ill take it...heres my deal i just spent 3000 bucks getting my top end redone and carbs completely rebuilt.. so i test ride runs pretty good,,, ..background.... the ignition switch was sooo worn anything basically you stuck in would start it... as forth it has the ket to a safe in it, worked great,, till i rolled er off of the trailer ready for a glory ride... KEY WOULD NOT TURN AT ALL...you can only imagine my frustration.,, you cant ,,i have issues,,,so i promptly ordered a new 1980 b kz 1ooo ignition w 2 shiney new REAL KEYS,, low and behold. 6 days of pacing and near sling blade activity...the box is here,,,,firstly the damn plug doesnt match...looking at all wires coming out of each. The bike has a YELLOW WIRE that my new one does Not.....ahhh the life if a carpenter... so i cut both off. All wires on the new are correct in color. Im just missing MR YELLOW... So i wired all together sans the yellow wire... lights on,, hoooray. Will not start, start button does nothing...so tell me something the will make it work,,, besides trying again ,which i will ,,, ordering a correct one. Anyone wanna send mr stupid a link i appreciate it..however anyone have anything that will let me take a ride ,,,,christ... thx fellas
