If it's a KZ750-H4 chain drive, then it should be an 83 model.

Wiring diagrams. mbsween. bike-night. KZ750L3. Scroll down & click "The Bible" link.
note: some of the wiring diagrams are mislabeled in the links: the 1981 Ltd is an H2, the 82 is an H3, & the 83 is an H4.
The site has a poorly copied black-&-white 750-4 pdf manual, so be sure to get the good version from the 750Turbo site linked below.

750turbo.com >>> Downloads >>> Full manual (128mb PDF) .
80-85 750-4 chain drive manual. Yellow/gold cover w color wiring diagrams. 1980-84 KZ750-4 & KZ700. 1983-85 ZX750.
ps: the good manual may be linked here on KZR in the Filebase.

Okay. It's an Ltd Shaft, then. AFAIK, the manual & supplements at the 750Turbo site are for the chain drive models.
In the USA there was an 83 KZ750-F1 Ltd Shaft. In 84 there was a ZN700 Ltd Shaft (ZN750 in Canada & maybe elsewhere).
You'll probably need to get the KZ750 Shaft manual. Kawasaki service manuals have a model application chart on the back cover, so make sure your motorcycle is included. There are several 750 shaft manuals on EB for around $30. EB search = KZ750 shaft manual

Take a look at the link below. It contains the wiring diagram for the 1983 KZ750-N2 Spectre which may be the same as the one for your bike. Ed

You need to determine exactly what motorcycle you have.
The wiring diagram you linked is for the 1980 KZ750-E1 chain drive model & there isn't a 750 shaft drive diagram listed at classic cycles

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWhat country are you in? From the VIN your motorcycle is a ZN750, not a KZ.
See the model application chart on the back of the 82-84 KZ750 shaft manual.
Because of tariff restrictions at the time, the USA only received the ZN700.
Canada & probably other parts of the world got the ZN750. The models are probably virtually identical, except for the CCs.
The ZN700/750 electrical junction box is similar to the ZX750 & is more complex than the simple fuse box on most KZs.
I would go ahead & get the manual. Several are available for cheap. posted this one for the chart on the back cover.

The following 2 links show the Z750N Spectre and the ZN750LTD. One big difference is the wheels. The Z750N Spectre wheels look very much like typical KZ wheels with straight cast spokes, but the ZN750LTD wheels have curved cast spokes. That would seem like an easy way to tell them apart. Both bikes are shaft drive. Ed
