My kz is having issue starting. The starter cranks once but all my light still work so I don’t think it’s bad battery and it’s a new one to. I thinking it has to do with the stator I’m pretty new to working on bikes so I’m learning as I go so I’m now learning how a stator works. cause it could be wiring from stator to I don’t know exactly what issue is. Does anyone have any input what to do or what to buy?

If it was mine I would start by having the battery tested to ensure it is ok - especially since it is new. Ed

Definitely have the battery load tested. Even a new one can be bad. If there is an internal short, the battery can show correct voltage, but not have enough apmerage to start the bike.
Also, be very sure that both ends of the negative battery cable have clean, tight connections.

Sounds like a bad battery cable to me.
