The shell itself is rubber mounted by the indicator mounts. So it is not earthed. You could use the headlight bulb earth or the indicator earths.

I have the same motorcycle. There should be an accessory ground inside the headlight bucket.
There also should be an accessory power wire there as well >> blue-white wire.
Not sure what you're trying to do, but I moved the turn signals from the handlebars to the headlight bucket by installing turn signal stems in place of the big headlight bolts & I replaced the tiny turn signal grounding rings w 10mm rings to fit the turn signal stems.
