Hey guys, I have what seems to be a 1982 kz1000j on a trike frame.at the moment I'm figuring out the ignition circuit. My problem is the starter motor is missing the contact studs. There are two bolt holes on the top, and I'm not sure which is the positive terminal hole. Also, where can I find another terminal bolt?

This is the positive terminal bolt.
The starter housing is the negative terminal.

The positive stud is on the bottom, you have to remove the starter motor.

It's behind the sprocket cover along with the stator connections. You must remove the sprocket cover first to remove the starter since the cable connects to the bottom.

The threaded holes on top are just for the two cover bolts.
