On my Z1 and KZ900, I use the F mark, same as with the stock points ignition.
There are several different styles of F marks on the various advancers. The F mark is sometimes easy to identify, and sometimes less easy to identify. Let us know if you're uncertain exactly which mark is the F mark, or would like to see some examples of the different style marks.
Good Fortune!

As Patton said, you would use the factory's F mark for manually timing the Dyna S.
The photo you posted is for an electronic ignition on a Kz550. A points-driven 650 would probably look different. The electronic ignition advancers don't usually have an F mark for cylinders 2 and 3. The points version did.

With the Dyna S you are supposed to set the timing at full advance using a timing light. You can set it at the F mark statically and it will be close but you still have to check it at full advance to be sure it's right.
