Kawasaki OEM Electronic Ignition - Adjusting Timing

This may sound thick , but how do you adjust the timing on the above , the timing plate does not adjust ?

There is no adjustment. Your photo shows it to be pretty close.

How far off is it? If only a bit, then you can elongate the mounting holes with a file.
1981 KZ550 D1 gpz.

slot the mounting holes.
