New stator 81 kz305

Im pretty sure my stator went out the otherday and my battery died on the road. It only has an output of 3 vac and around 4 vac at 4000 rpm. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for it??

I checked ElectroSport but didn't see a stator for the 81 KZ305 CSR. There are a few on EB, mostly used, and one new one for about $200. ouch.

I would remove the stator & take a look at it to see if the pigtail wiring is damaged or something. and also check the rotor.
I don't know much about this sort of thing, but that's what I'd do.
